Club night - HEADing to Everest - Friday 24 October 2025

Come along to our evening talk at the Blairgowrie Golf Club to hear all about HEADing to Everest. 

Our very own Evelyn Menzies embarked on a challenge of a lifetime when she, along with people who have an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), headed to Nepal to climb to Everest Base Camp. This demonstrated that, despite the obstacles they’ve faced, there is always hope, life, and support after brain injury. Many of these individuals were told by medical professionals that they would never walk again or lead a "normal" life. Evelyn will be telling us all about the challenge, the highs and lows, the emotions and physical challenges of those involved. 

This talk is open to all - so please come and bring friends and family to hear about this fascinating & eventful trip that took over a week to complete.

There will be the usual raffle at the event and donations of prizes on the night will be gratefully received (All money raised will be split between ABI & Club Funds).
