A Walk – Creag Meagaidh
From the Visitor Carpark at Aberarder, head NNW and then the path to Lochan a Choire. From here climb the coll and the “Window”. Head South then west to true summit of Creag Meagaidh (M-1130m). Return to East spot height 1070m Puist Coire Ardair. Descend East then NE down the shoulder for 3km. Turn SE for 1½km then cross the footbridge. Head back to the Visitor Centre and the starting point.

B Walk – Cairn Liath/Meall an t Snaim
Start as the “A” walk past the Visitor Centre and follow the path towards Lochan a Choire for approx. 5km. Leave the path and head N up the shoulder of Na Cnapanan 623m. and continue on to Carn Liath (M-1006m). Head W to Meall an t Snaim 869m. and continue to spot heihjt 963m, SSW to Mon Choire 991m. Return to starting point by descending S to the path leading back to the Visitor Centre and the Starting point.

Total ascent: 530m m
Min. walking time: 4½ hrs
C Walk – Lochan a Choire
Start as the “A walk” and follow the footpath to Lochan a Choire. Return by a reverse of the same route back to the Visitor Centre and the Carpark.
Approx. distance: 12 km
Total ascent: 370 m
Min. walking time: 4 hrs
Please note that the Minimum walking times are based on reasonably fast walkers and assuming good conditions. The times do not include stops or breaks. In poor weather conditions or if members are not comfortable walking at 4km/hour then alternative or shorter routes should be considered.

The next club walk is an Overnight adventure to observe the setting sun and the following mornings rising sun on 19th/20th June. Leaving Blairgowrie at 6:00pm, transport by car. Destination Creag nan Gabhar, Glen Clunie. Other information/events: Club weekend to Arran is 3rd-5th June
