A Walk – An  Caisteal and Beinn Chabhair.  

Start in Glen Falloch at Derrydaroch 351220  and head South-East on the long North west ridge passing over Stob Glas to  the summit of An Caisteal (M-995m.). Head due South for approx. ½ km. to  379188, then South-West to the coll at 374183. From here continue South-West,  climbing sharply to the summit of Beinn Chabhair (M-933m.). Turn North for 50m  and then descend the West ridge over Meall nan Tarmachan to the South side of  Lochan a’ Chaisteil, them over Meall Mor nan Eag dropping down to Beinglas  Farm, cross the River Falloch and South to Inverarnan.

Approx.  distance:  12.5 km

Total  ascent: 1200 m

Min.  walking time: 5½ - 6 hrs

B Walk – Beinn  Chabhair.

Start in Glen Falloch near Beinglas Farm  319187. Cross the Bridge over the River Falloch and head for Beinglas Farm.  Climb steeply behind the Farm and follow the path, boggy in parts, along the  North side of the Beinglas Burn to Lochan Beinn Chabhair. From here climb  East then North-East to reach the ridge about 360184, hen East to the summit  of Beinn Chabhair (M – 933m.). Descend as the “A” walk, turn North for 50m  and then descend the West ridge over Meall nan Tarmachan to the South side of  Lochan a’ Chaisteil, them over Meall Mor nan Eag dropping down to Beinglas  Farm, cross the River Falloch and South to Inverarnan.

Approx.  distance:  11.5 km

Total  ascent: 920 m

Min.  walking time: 5 - 5½ hrs

C Walk – West  Highland Way.

Start  at the Rail Station in Crianlarich and Head West rising through the woodland  for about 1km to join the West Highland Way. Turn left, South and follow the  path South on part of the Old Military Road and Through Glen Falloch. Pass  Derrydaroch and on to the spectacular Falls of Falloch. Continue South to  Beinglas Farm and cross the River Falloch, turn South and follow the A82 for  half a km to Inverarnan.

Approx.  distance:  10.5 km

Total  ascent: 200 m

Min.  walking time: 4 - 4½ hrs
